Foundation Increases Assistance to Students
The UCC Foundation scholarships have provided assistance to 237 students equaling over $500,000 in resources. Over 400 scholarships were awarded for the 2011/12 academic year. We look forward to having an increased number of applicants so that we can help more than 237 students for 2012/13. Our application for the 2012/13 academic year will be available online only January 30, 2012-March 2, 2012. Scholarship workshops will be provided the first 2 weeks of February 2012 and are strongly recommended.
Students also can receive help with the cost of bus passes. They can apply for a subsidized bus pass and receive a discount making the cost of the bus pass $15 instead of $45. Applications are available in the Foundation Office in the Technology Center.
